# Pricing — ReelMint

ReelMint is the MCP-first video studio: an AI agent (Claude, Claude Code, Cursor)
or you directly turns a topic, README, or changelog into a 9:16 Short built from
real, editable motion-graphic scenes, then publishes it to your own YouTube or
Instagram channel.

There is **no paid tier today.** Every number below is what the product actually
enforces, not a projection.

## Free trial — first 5 videos

- Price: $0. No credit card, no API key.
- Included: 5 videos within the first 7 days of a new workspace, running on
  ReelMint's own AI keys (script generation, images, narration).
- Limits: a trial video may be up to 120 seconds; uploads up to 20 MB.
- Ends when: 5 videos are created, or 7 days pass — whichever comes first.

## Free forever — bring your own keys (BYOK)

- Price: $0 to ReelMint. You pay your AI providers directly at their list price.
- Markup: **0%.** No credits system, no token resale, no expiry.
- Limits: create up to **4 new videos a week**, and keep up to **15 videos** in
  your workspace at a time. Delete finished videos to free room.
- Counting: a video counts from the moment it is created — even as just a title —
  not at publish time.
- Included: the full studio. 100+ editable motion components, AI narration,
  scene-level editing, the MCP server (132 tools), publishing to YouTube Shorts,
  no watermarks on any output. Instagram Reels publishing is built and runs our
  own channel, but connecting your own Instagram account is pending Meta App
  Review.
- Keys you can bring: Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenAI-compatible providers
  (DeepSeek, Kimi, GLM, Qwen, Grok, Groq, Mistral, Together), ElevenLabs for
  voice, or a local Ollama install.

## Paid plans

Not available yet. Paid tiers are planned to raise both free-tier limits rather
than gate features; early users lock in early-user pricing when they launch.
Ownership does not change: your videos, your channels, your provider accounts.

## What is not included

- TikTok publishing — OAuth is wired, upload is not yet complete.
- Done-for-you production. ReelMint is a self-serve studio, not an agency.
