Questions, answered

The things creators ask before they try it. Something missing? Ask us directly.

What does it cost to run, really?

ReelMint is free during the pilot. Generation runs on your own API keys — a typical Short costs a few cents to a few rupees of Gemini/ElevenLabs usage, billed by those providers directly to you. No markup, no credits system, no watermarks.

Which platforms can I publish to?

YouTube Shorts today, fully wired: connect your channel once and publish drafts with thumbnails from the studio. Instagram and TikTok are on the roadmap — we'd rather ship one platform that works than five that half-work.

Do I own what I make?

Entirely. Your scripts, scenes, and videos are yours; publishing goes to your channel under your account. Export or delete your project anytime.

How is this different from AI clip tools?

Clip tools cut up long videos you already made. ReelMint makes the video — from a topic or script to animated, narrated scenes. Unlike text-to-video generators, every scene stays editable: real code cards, charts, and diagrams, not baked pixels.

Does Hinglish really work?

Yes — it's a first-class language here, not an afterthought. Record naturally in mixed Hindi + English; you get clean romanized captions aligned to your scenes. This is where most tools fall apart, and it's why we built our own pipeline.

Where is my data stored, and who can see it?

Your content lives in your workspace on our servers, isolated per workspace — other customers can never see your projects, keys, or channel connections. Provider API keys are encrypted at rest. Nightly backups protect against data loss, and you can request full deletion anytime.

Can my team work with me?

Yes — invite teammates into your workspace with editor or admin roles. Editors make reels; admins also manage settings, keys, and users.

Can an AI agent use it for me?

Yes. ReelMint has a built-in MCP server, so Claude and similar agents can script, compose scenes, render, and publish in your studio with a scoped access token — you review everything on your channel.

What do I need to get started?

A topic, a Google account for YouTube publishing, and a free Gemini API key (we walk you through it at onboarding). First reel in under an hour is the norm.

I hit a problem — how do I reach you?

The 💬 Feedback button inside the studio lands directly with the team, or email us. During the pilot you'll also have a weekly call slot with the founder.
