FAQ

Common questions

Does my code get uploaded anywhere?

No. The card is drawn entirely in your browser on a canvas and the PNG is generated locally. Your code never leaves the page.

Which languages does the highlighter support?

It's language-agnostic — a small heuristic that colors keywords, strings, numbers, comments and function calls across most C-family, JS/TS, Python, Go and Rust code. It's a beautifier, not a compiler, so highlighting is close-but-not-perfect by design.

What resolution is the exported image?

It renders at 2× for crisp text on retina screens and social previews. Very long snippets are capped so the canvas stays a sane size — trim to fit if you hit the cap.

Can I use the images commercially?

Yes — they're your code and your image. Use them in docs, posts, slides or anywhere you like, no attribution required.
