How it works

Three steps

1
Paste your hookType or paste the first line your video says out loud — the one on screen in the first three seconds.
2
Read the breakdownEach of the five signals shows what it checked, whether it passed, and why — nothing hidden behind a model.
3
Fix and re-scoreApply the tips, paste the new version, and watch the score move. Then build the real thing in the studio.
FAQ

Common questions

How is the score calculated?

By five plain rules — length, a specific number, a curiosity trigger, whether it addresses the viewer, and a punchy start. Every point is explained on the page; there's no AI grading it.

What makes a strong hook?

A tight line (roughly 4–12 spoken words) that opens a curiosity gap, names something specific, and talks to the viewer — with no 'so, today I want to…' throat-clearing before it.

Does this send my text anywhere?

No. The analyzer runs entirely in your browser. Your hook never leaves the page.
